If you work all the problems and exercises, you will know how to create simulations in Arena. You will also have a thorough knowledge of the concepts of general simulations. Textbook is very concise in explaining the Systems Engineering process in Modeling and Simulation.
Great examples to work through if you want to gain Arena skills. Just some advice though. As far as textbooks for school go this one is a winner. The writers have a sense of humor and it's an easy read.
